For many years broadcom wireless cards have been the bane of linux users’ wireless existence.
I am now pleased to report that we have Broadcom Wireless drivers for SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11. To install the drivers simply create an installation source pointing to this url: http://www.broadcom.com/docs/linux_sta/repo/Novell/Novell-Common/sle11/install/
After adding the installation source, determine which kernel you are running by entering: uname -r. Open up yast and go to software management yast2 sw_single search for “broadcom”, and install the right KMP for your kernel.
Enjoy!
